CHURCH CHOIR BANQUET

1. Reward your faithful choir members, instrumentalists, orchestra, etc. (Honor one or two of your special musicians for extra faithfulness or length of service.)

2. Enlist new choir members, orchestra members and reclaim those who may have dropped out.

3. Focus on the Music Ministry as a vital part of the church program.

4. Get the appropriate leaders of the church involved.

5. Have an outside musician give you a new slant on the music ministry, new songs, choruses, tell some hymn stories, challenge your music personnel to give their best for the Lord.

6. Have a fun time with light-hearted skits, some jokes, some unusual special music (Fish Quartet, Country Singers, etc. )

7. Plan at least 2 per year……Spring, Fall, Christmas.

8. If possible, link with a choral clinic once or twice.

9. Choir members could give a special gift to their Director, and honor their Pastor for his support of the music ministry.

10. Use special musical decorations in the fellowship hall.
